Member program
Disaster Relief Fund
The NCISS Disaster Relief Fund was created in 2021 in response to natural disasters across the country. The fund is supported by voluntary donations from members and non-members and assists members in good standing who face personal hardship.
Eligibility
- Available for members in good standing who demonstrate personal loss due to unforeseen circumstances
- Not limited to natural disasters — open to any member in crisis
- Committee turnaround for requests not to exceed 3 days before Board referral
- Confidentiality maintained within the committee and Executive Director unless the member chooses to publicize
